Historical re-enactment weekend
An immersive dive into the century of the Marquise de Sévigné. During the day, the château comes alive with fencing demonstrations, reconstructed 17th-century market stalls, workshops, costumed parades, horse shows, games and dances…
In the evening, the château becomes the stage for numerous events inspired by the grand festivities hosted by the Count and Countess of Grignan in the 17th century. It is also the chance to relive the atmosphere of the first night-time festivities launched in 1987: wandering through illuminated and decorated rooms, baroque dance performances, theatrical scenes, fencing duels…
Plume and Punchline !
3 and 4 October 2026
Closing weekend celebrating words and letters: public speaking contests, improvisation, and slam poetry.
In a scenographic visitor trail built around the theme of words and letters, visitors will enjoy readings and declamations of excerpts from letters, improvisations, slam performances, theatrical scenes… A sound, musical and poetic immersion that will fill the monument for an entire weekend.
